About DriveThruDeficit.com

Last updated

DriveThruDeficit.com turns published U.S. restaurant nutrition information into breakfast, lunch, and dinner ideas for a selected calorie target.

Why the site exists

Some people need an order they can use on a busy day, not another spreadsheet. The planner does the basic calorie arithmetic and shows orders from familiar chains. It does not claim that fast food has a special effect on weight loss.

How recommendations are made

The calculator estimates a daily calorie target from the profile and goal information a visitor enters. It then looks for meals in the site's database that are close to the breakfast, lunch, and dinner allowances. The methodology page explains the calculation, defaults, filters, and limits.

Independent status

DriveThruDeficit.com is an independent website. It is not owned, operated, or endorsed by the restaurants listed on the site. Restaurant names and trademarks identify the menu source and belong to their respective owners.

The site does not currently claim review by a registered dietitian, physician, or other clinician. Each meal shows its component calorie math, source links, U.S. market, and nutrition review date. The editorial and nutrition data policy explains the source and correction standards.

This site provides general information, not medical advice. A clinician should guide calorie or weight changes during pregnancy, for anyone under 18, or for people with a medical condition, an eating disorder history, or specific nutrition needs.
